LASS YOUR AFF OFF!

Stop on by and have some laughs...

Saturday, August 16 @ 7:30 pm

LAKE FOREST PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

100 CIVIC CENTER DRIVE – LAKE FOREST

DON’T WAIT. THIS SHOW WILL SELL OUT!

On Saturday, August 16, Lass Your Aff Off! travels to Lake Forest with an incredible show featuring our good friend and Orange County favorite Fritz Coleman! That’s right, the man who brought you the weather and laughter on KNBC for more than 35 years is bringing his unique comedy style to the Lake Forest Performing Arts Center on Saturday August 16 and you need to be there! If not for the laughter; for the weather report!

Fritz grew up in Radnor, Pennsylvania, and attended Salem University in West Virginia and Temple University in Philadelphia where he studied radio, television, and film. He worked as a comedian and disc jockey for several years and as a radio personality at WBEN and later WKBW in Buffalo, New York. He left Buffalo for Los Angeles in 1980 to work as a stand-up comic. In 1982 he began work as weekend weatherman at KNBC and became the weekday weatherman in 1984.

Fritz has written and performed two one-man theater acts, titled The Reception and It’s Me! Dad! He received the 2004 EMA Community Service Award for his involvement with KNBC’s 4 Our Planet, a children’s program. He appeared in a supporting role in one of Raymond Burr’s last Perry Mason television films, The Case of the Telltale Talk Show Host, in 1993 and through all of that, he never stopped performing stand-up comedy.

Joining Fritz on this night of laughter is the very funny Laura Hayden. Laura leaves no sordid stone unturned in her stand-up comedy. The mastermind behind the multi-media show “I Didn’t Mean To Be A Virgin In The 80’s,” all topics are fair game for Laura, from her own stories of coming of age to the bizarre and all too funny real life experiences. Laura has appeared in countless clubs, theatres, casinos, cruise ships, military tours and shacks all over the United States and 26 countries. Laura’s credits include TV Guide Network, Laughs on Fox, The Night Shift with Kevin Ferguson, Funny.com, Dead Americans, LATALK radio and Sirius/XM radio.

And if that wasn’t enough comedy for one night, we also have OC’s very own Ron Ruhman! Ron has been called a “High Energy Seinfeld”.  He brings a very energetic style to the stage as he shares his interesting slant on day-to-day life in an act that is clean, smart, and very entertaining. Ron headlines clubs, colleges, corporate and church events, throughout the United States and Canada. He has opened for many talented performers including Leon Redbone, Judy Tenuta, Shawn Wayans, Jimmy Brogan, Don Friesen, and James P Connolly, done audience warm-up on several productions including Castle Rock Pictures “Forget Paris” starring Billy Crystal, and appeared on numerous television shows including “America’s Funniest People”, Comedytime TV, KTLA’s Find Me a Comic, and COZI TV. Ron also just finished recording his first DryBar Comedy special.

This is going to be an amazing night of comedy, so please don’t miss it, and don’t attend alone.  You’re going to need someone to help you up when you fall on the floor laughing.
