As 2026 nears it’s end, making his first Voco Hotel appearance on Thursday, November 19th, we welcome the very funny Jeff Capri.
Jeff is one of the top second-generation comics working today. The only comic to be described as “energetically laid back” Capri is sort of a comedy chameleon. While often times observational and physical, Jeff will also pop in a silly biographical/political twist now and again. Jeff also does sparkling takes on pop-culture and his puns are always intended. Jeff’s comedic palette takes a different direction than his father’s classic Catskill style, yet the timeless “Capri” sensibilities and timing are embedded in Jeff’s DNA. Since 1999, Jeff has been sharing his talents abroad, bringing laughter to the United States Military. Jeff’s touring camaraderie with the USO and Armed Forces Entertainment has taken him everywhere from Micronesia to Afghanistan. He also stars the acclaimed comedy documentary “I Am Battle Comic” about entertaining U.S. troops in the Middle East.
Having Jeff at the Voco is very exciting, but there’s more! We also have the very funny Lee Levine. Lee began doing stand-up in San Francisco in the late 90’s and honed his skills on San Francisco’s hallowed stages before moving to Los Angeles. He immediately immersed himself in Hollywood and began studying improvisation. With a new environment, new techniques and his old neuroses, Lee’s comedy has flourished. Recently, Lee has had the honor of entertaining US troops in Afghanistan and Iraq and has garnered multiple appearances on the nationally syndicated “Bob and Tom Show.”
Also gracing our Lass Your Aff Off! stage in October will be Brian McKenzie. Brian can be seen performing regularly throughout a variety of OC & LA clubs. His low-key delivery, instant likability, and comedic observations, has made him an audience favorite wherever he performs.
Hosting this cavalcade of comedy is an OC favorite and the “King of One-Liners”, Barry Weisenberg. Barry is a past winner of the Las Vegas Comedy Festival and he has appeared at the Irvine Improv, the Brea Improv, the Hollywood Improv, the Comedy Store, the Laugh Factory, the Ice House, and tons of other comedy rooms and venues.
