On Thursday, August 27th making his first Lass Your Aff Off! appearance at the Voco Hotel will be the hilarious Claude Stuart!
From packing comedy venues across the globe to regular television appearances on shows like “The Tonight Show” and “Last Comic Standing”, veteran comedian Claude Stuart has come a long way from his down-home southern roots. By his own admission, he was “paddled on more than one occasion for being the class clown.” Claude’s explosive, in-your-face, rapid-fire, madman stage style is truly an exhilarating assault on the senses and has evoked comparisons to golden era physical comedians such as Steve Martin, Robin Williams and Jim Carrey. Claude’s unique brand of Don Rickles-esque crowd interaction, coupled with clever and well-written jokes, makes him not only the world’s first physical insult comedian…but a “comedy triple threat”!
Joining Claude is the very funny Amanda Cohen. Amanda is a middle-age single woman who is definitely nobody’s mom. She’s your best nightmare: a fearless feminist with a sharp sense of irony who will challenge your assumptions about women of a certain age, while still relating to all ages. She’s hosted, showcased, featured, and headlined all over the U.S. She was a finalist in the U.S. Comedy Competition and also a finalist in the Clean Comedy Challenge in Carson City, NV.
Joining Amanda and Claude is the wonderfully funny Jennifer Arundale. Jennifer is an actor, comedian, producer and DIY mom. Jennifer performs regularly at The Irvine Improv, The Comedy Store, The Rec Room, Flappers and a variety of Country Clubs and Resorts and was a finalist in the Funniest Housewives competition and a semifinalist in the Jeanne Robertson Humor Contest.
Our big show on August 27th will be hosted by funnyman Burt Teplitzky. Burt has been on LA’s Got Talent, and can currently be heard on Sirius XM Radio, and recently taped a stand-up comedy special (Inside Scars). In addition, he has performed at the Comedy Store, Comedy Chateau, Amazing Comedy Theater, and many other comedy clubs throughout the U.S.
