The Z Playhouse in Mission Viejo is the perfect setting to see some of the funniest and entertaining stand-up comedians from television, movies, radio, and comedy clubs working in the business today. Our monthly Lass Your Aff Off! shows are guaranteed to put a smile on your face and keep you laughing long after the evening ends!  Located just off the 5 freeway in “The OC”, this venue seats up to 120 people so there isn’t a bad seat in the house.

May is fast approaching and that means summer is almost here. On Saturday May 4, Lass Your Aff Off! will be back at The Z with an incredible lineup of comedians that we can’t wait for you to see. Our headliner is the very funny and likeable Daniel Eachus.

Daniel is the hardest working comic out there today and has been performing stand-up non-stop throughout the nation’s clubs, colleges, and cruises. He made it to the finals on Comedy Central’s “Up Next” and soon after, made his second televised appearance on FOX & HULU’s “Laughs”. Since then, he’s done two stand-up albums with 800 Pound Gorilla Records, that have been playing regularly on Sirius XM, Spotify, iTunes, and Pandora. He also filmed his debut DryBar comedy special “A Mild and Skinny Guy” which has over a million total views!

When he’s not onstage making people laugh, he’s making people laugh at their screens. Daniel acts, writes, and produces the comedy sketch series, “Bigfoot Chasers”. He is a co-writer on a brand-new Kevin Hart-Produced Series. He’s starred in 20 National Television Commercials, was featured on SpikeTV, and is in the hilarious new film, “Amy and Peter Are Getting Divorced” on Paramount+.

Having Daniel back at The Z is very exciting, but there’s more! We also have the very funny Lee Levine. Lee began doing stand-up in San Francisco in the late 90’s and honed his skills on San Francisco’s hallowed stages before moving to Los Angeles. He immediately immersed himself in Hollywood and began studying improvisation. With a new environment, new techniques and his old neuroses, Lee’s comedy has flourished. Recently, Lee has had the honor of entertaining US troops in Afghanistan and Iraq and has garnered multiple appearances on the nationally syndicated “Bob and Tom Show.”

Rounding out the evening of laughter is Georgia Kelley. Georgia has been performing all over in Orange County, Los Angeles & Santa Barbara comedy clubs. She is a single mom of 4 teenage daughters, so comedy is at her fingertips! When Georgia began performing comedy her family said, “I think we’ve all been waiting for this, we just didn’t know it!”

The evening will be hosted by a Z favorite, Jenelle Van de Mortel. Jenelle started her stand-up comedy career at 59. Her motto – It’s never too late to follow your dreams – especially if you are still ambulatory! She has performed at the Comedy Chateau, Flappers, and numerous clubs throughout LA, OC and San Diego.

* The Z Playhouse showroom is located on the second floor of the building. Currently the only access available are stairs located on the outside of the building. No elevator access is available.

** Lineups may change up until show time. While this is highly unusual, it does happen occassionally due to last minute scheduling conflicts or other unforseen events.

*** All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. Comedy is subjective and although we strive hard to bring you the funniest, top-notch comedians, some may push the boundries of your personal comfort zone so we suggest you check out their website first. While we don’t have a minimum age requirement for admission, most of our shows are Rated PG-13 as a rule and we would hope you would use your best judgement when purchasing tickets.
